in 1999
Led by Hal Nichols and James Deer, Christ Central Allendale
is working to reduce poverty and crime in southwestern South
Carolina.
This Mission Station currently has two facilities. The
original building, opened in 1999, served as a men's shelter
until the fall of 2006. Then, with the completion of their
newest building, the original facility was converted to a
Women and Children's shelter. The new facility now serves as
the men's shelter.
